ImageMrs. Hacker and her granddaughter Mrs. Hacker, I can not say enough about her, she was and still is such a big influence in my life. She was a kind caring teacher, she was tough and hard but that was what was so great about her. She taught us what hard work was and helped prepared us for life. You did not make a grade you worked hard and earned that grade. I was very honored and lucky to have her as a teacher.

Image    Mr. T.L. Cook, he was the reason I went to college earned a degree in history and became a teacher.  He was straightforward and honest. He called it like he seen it and told you like it was. When he was sick, he would talk about Bonds Wilson and North Charleston, I remember him talking about all the drivers Ed stories, and people he had seen come and go. He always was Mr. Cook, a great teacher and friend, I miss him so much, he was a big part of my life.

Mrs. Pav in the late 70's or 1980 Mrs. Pavlisko was a students favorite.  She was the rockin teacher that everyone loved.

I loved Mrs. Pavlisko!I loved English because of her.  I remember when I went to have my baby and came back, she was so happy and told me how much she missed me because I would always be the one to raise my hand first when she asked questions and noone took that spot while I was gone .  She always made the class fun and exciting, she will always be a teacher who I will remember always. (Nehelle Rollerson)

Mrs. Maxine Hudson . Mrs. Hudson is a legend at both Bonds Wilson and North Charleston.  You start hearing about his legend in middle school, you hear words like hard, and tough, old school,   You hear that her class is hard and you will work for the grade, that she gives nothing to you, you will earn every point.  You hear that you will either learn history or get broke in the process of it.  You hear she will break your old study habits and  teach you the meaning of hard work.  But not one time did the word mean ever come up, she was fail and honest and caring.  If you had her or not, she made an impression on you that would remain with you for all of your days.  Mrs. Hudson did her job and did it well, she made you learn if you wanted to or not.  Still some 20 years later she is by far the most popular legend that NCHS.  We thank her, she was a wonderful role model to us all and prepared us for our college years.  We thank you Mrs. Hudson.

Talked to Mr. Eddie Garrett today Nov 26th, he is living in Charleston still.  Working at South Carolina Aquarium as a marine biologist  .

I got a email from Coach Kevin McCarty, he is teaching and coaching at Calhoun County High School.

If you ever had Coach for science, well it was a class to remember.  Cindy Lee and myself and Mark Williams had Coach for science at Bonds Wilson. Always had a blast in there..
